Spreading the joy
Joyful plate is active in the food and wine community and participates in many ways to share inspiration and kindness.
Michelle Lawton has been a branding consultant and Chef Trainee for The West Side Campaign Against Hunger since 2004 and has a tradition of auctioning risotto and wine cooking classes.
Michelle also helped to create Jacob’s Pickles charity Jacob’s Digs NY in support of urban farming as well as donated a risotto party for the Serious Fun Children’s Network (founded by Paul Newman).
