The kitchen was Command Central during the pandemic, and the pantry the power hub. While a key role in the house was line cook or top chef, it was only made possible with great supply chain management. As quarantine lingered on, the pantry evolved from a place to store simple basics to a place to fuel and explore. We reached for small jars of flavor adventures to add topspin to everyday meals. And we started experimenting with plant based versions of classic staples.
